We did it again! We hosted one of the largest New Mexico car enthusiast get together this year and it was an absolute success! If you are not sure what NM Desert Fest stands for well let me give you more information. NMDesertfest is a meet designed to showcase the talent and innovation that fellow New Mexican car enthusiasts have to offer the automotive industry. It can be seen as an opportunity to have your car shine for your creativity and ingenuity, as local professional photographers will be taking pictures of all the cars in attendance. Local Car tuners such as RaceFab, Solid Tech, BLVD Automotive, SQC Tuning, NM Imports and many more will be in attendance to showcase of their work as well.
Aside from bringing some of New Mexico’s talent in one location for a night, desert fest also is going to be helping the less fortunate this holiday season by collecting canned good as a ticket for entry into the event. The collected canned food will be then delivered to our local road runner food bank to help support the less fortunate. Having stunning Cars in attendance, awesome photography, and a good cause, this Second Annual Desert Fest should be an event to remember.
Oasis Smoke Shops and Hookah Lounge is a proud sponsor and one of the main founders of this event. Each year this event will be held to help those who can’t help themselves. We are a smoke shop and a local business that is in tune with community. We appreciate being a successful part of New Mexico’s business community and in return we would like to thank everyone who came out and helped this year! We officially had over 500 cars attend and well over 1500 attendees. In return we raised over 3000 pounds of canned food and $500 in donations that will go to the Road Runner Food Bank of New Mexico. Thank you again everyone, you guys rocked!
